I want to go to Japan, but I also want to be successful in business; I also want to go to a good school at least once in my life. Not one I'm sure I'll get into, not one that's close by. I want to apply to a bunch of schools, and get turned down from a few and accepted to a few.

These three things are not simultaneously possible. Time is running

I'm sure you can go to a good school AND go to Japan in your lifetime! It's just a matter of working the timing out the right way. You don't have to do both right now. But I think you can make it happen =]
