In just about a month, my band boards a plane and heads to the U.K. Over the course of about two and a half weeks we will play all over England, Scotland, and Wales in support of the English band Sonic Boom Six.

I just finished another tour with the Flaming Tsunamis. This one was quite different from past tours for a number of reasons. For one, it was only ten days long, with no days off. I just finished a month-long tour with the Flaming Tsunamis. It was amazing and stressful. So many of the shows were great and it really made me feel like this band is worth my time. Tour went great. Dr. Ring Ding was phenomenal last night in NYC. I can't wait to play there again... with fucking PILFERS.

I flew home from LAX yesterday afternoon. I went and visited my sick grandmother for a few hours, and she passed away while I was sleeping.

I'm up too early here in Reno and thought I'd write another little update. We played in Abilene, Kansas (aka: where?) on Saturday and there was a snowstorm. Amazingly, the place filled up and it was a GREAT show. So tonight will make a week of touring with the Flaming Tsunamis. The first show was last Friday. Already two of our shows fell through. New Jersey (the would-be second show) was cancelled due to a gas leak at the venue. There was a HUGE crowd before doors even opened, which means it would've been a great time. Last night I played my last Detroit show for several months. It was badly timed (only a week after the Mustard Plug show) but I needed to have a show to promote at the Plug show and I needed to have a going away show.
