I'm presented with an unusual situation on Sunday: a day off and THREE things I want to do. Here's the rundown.

Option 1: House party / trad. ska show / formal? A house party at which formal dress is required, plus live music from the Expos and One Night Band. Pros: awesome music, cool theme, booze. Cons: 2-hour drive, and might see both bands ( Read more... )

I'd judge depending on shows on Friday and Saturday (if you go see the option 1 bands on Saturday). I'd lean towards option 2, though. Maybe then you can see a movie afterwards if you still want to do something, too?

Good point. The friend I think would come with me to see Zinn wants to see Borat this weekend with me. That would work out nicely.

Unequivocally, go see Zinn. This coming from as big a ska fan as I am, I'm a bigger fan of truth. I'm intensely jealous you get to see him. If it wasn't so far away, I'd go see it myself. In fact, I might go anyway.
