and the air

I was making toast earlier when I realized how pleasant the heat was, despite how hot the air has been lately.  It's when the air is cold that we enjoy high temperatures, and when the air is hot that we are drawn to a chill.

Do we, as people need this duality? And am I, as a person, in danger of not being wanted for remaining as ( Read more... )

It's a personality trait/flaw. I try to find, regulate, maintain and spread a calm and pleasant environment. I'm too polite as a means of combating the selfishness, rudeness and chaos.

There are times it's seen as weak, or subservient perhaps? It can be annoying. I'm aware.

Nothing major. Just restating my motivation for evenly mixing fire and ice with the inevitable result being an outward appearance of tepidity.
