so very true, but often so very hard to remember.

and I even learned a new word reading this... all the while grumbling to myself about LJ titles that require me to look up words in a dictionary :)

YES! I especially like that you used the word "expect" instead of need, want, desire, etc. Because of course He desires us to be... and wants us to be... but knows who we are and the world in which we live.
