  This is a story of a mate of mine. Although he is different from me, where he came from, his education and his family, we have very similar problems. We are both addicts. With this poem I was able to draw on my hazy recollection's of my addiction and of early recovery. Luckily for me things have changed immensely and I am grateful that they have. Had an assessment already. Freaky, I just went with my head which can be dangerous. I have never studied poetry before, so this is opening my mind to new things and I am finding that I am enjiying it. Bring it on...

I love mangoes, the sensuality of the poem was fantastic. I also found the addictive nature of the poem something I can relate to. Mangoes are the sexiest food of all...
