Today, during the formal part of our English lesson, I pointed to various parts of my head for Philipp to identify. When we got to my hair, he claimed it was a hat. I pulled it out of the ponytail and tugged on it to show that it was no such thing, and Philipp grabbed it and shouted, "It's the longest hat in the world

Oh my God, Samara! Educational opportunity here! In ninth grade I started to knit, but never quite finished, a really really long blue and purple tapering hat that would reach most of the way down your back. I still have it around somewhere. WHat do you say?

Call me dense, but I don't quite grasp how this is an educational opportunity. I mean, I'm sure it's a fascinating hat, but...
