I'm still very behind on my LJing. Between my flurry of activity the other day and writing and addressing my Christmas Cards, my elbow is calling for a bit of a break. Not to mention that our temperature hasn't reached above freezing, and won't, all week. Then there is the emotional drainage from the slain police officers in the Sea/Tac area ( Read more... )

The story about those four officers is just so tragic.

Hope you're doing okay and we'll look forward to seeing you around when you're able! You're missed, Donna!

We're doing okay here, thanks for your concern.

Yep, the officer's murder, coming on the heels of another ambush murder of a Seattle officer just a month before was a bit much.

I saw some pictures from that service. Very moving. :(

I don't know what the hell was up with all the snowflakes, but it was very festive!

Yep, the snowflakes were very festive, whatever they were.

They estimated that 20,000 law enforcement all over the country (and Canada) attended the memorial and on a record cold day, there were people lined up along all the streets of the procession which was soooo long.

Now, I've watched the first 2 discs of Season 3, but in a boneheaded move, did so right after NaNo was finished. Methinks I'll have to rewatch them soon. I'm worried about all this stuff that the reborn (or whatever they call it) Sam not being 'completely human'. It all seems to happen to Sam, doesn't it?

Aye, Sam just can't seem to escape his 'dark destiny'. But fear not! Good generally triumphs in the end. *G*

Oh good, I'm glad Good triumphs, hopefully.

Have now watched through Dream a Little Dream of Me, loved the bit of back story we got on Bobby in that one, tragic though it was. And the Christmas special with the demi gods was pretty darn good. But the witch one actually made me gag (when the buggy chicken/hamburger scene was going on) the gore doesn't bother me but ingesting bugs, yuck!!!
