I am so discouraged.

Gone with the Wind is not racist because it depicts slavery; it is racist because of the characterization of the slaves. Slavery was obviously present during the time GWTW is set and is one of the reasons that the Civil War was fought. In honor of Beatles Day, I would like to recommend the movie that helped cement their public image. A Hard Day’s Night is a tongue-in-cheek take on a day in the life of the Beatles.
