Maybe there's an underground network of double-reed players, that you could have found some oboe/bassoon/finkelhorn/english horn players in Delaware and given them the secret handshake and they would let you borrow theirs?

I'd probably opt for the cheater's way out and say "our wedding." It saves syllabiage and we were all at his wedding to confirm the identity of his lovely bride. :-)
