I just returned from my trip with my parents (and, for a week, Max) to the Florida Keys. It was a great trip! I'm unlikely to ever be as carefree again as I am this summer: dissertation completed, but the stress of my new job hasn't started yet. (By the way, to see something cool, go here). Ok, so I don't post that much, but I was re-reading some previous Harry Potter books in preparation for Book 7 and I had a sort of random thought.  I wanted to share it with a HP fan and Max hasn't read any of the books.

I'm really starting to enjoy this whole winter thing a little more. The amounts of snow and cold were really a bummer, until I got a job at a school. The community college where I work seems to be really antsy about opening in snow, and we've had a lot of it since I started there.
