I'm down 25 pounds from 2 months ago and that's a pretty good thing. And I've changed from wearing XL shirts to M shirts. Perhaps that was my biggest mistake. I didn't think I looked good in medium shirts and got too comfortable with the XL shirts (and that had an effect on me not caring as much about exercise and diet). Congrats on the weight loss!

There's not really any way to shrink a cotton T-shirt down two sizes; most are being made with preshrunk fabric. You can try washing them in hot water (which may strip the color) and putting them in the dryer on high heat. Other than that, your best bet is to get a needle, thread, and a pair of scissors and cut them down yourself-or have someone do it for you.

If they're in good condition, sell them on eBay or elsewhere and use the money to rewards yourself with new ones that actually fit.

I second that. If they aren't sellable, Goodwill will take them. I think keeping them would send a bad message in the environment you're trying to set up. And I've been there.

True. Although trying the shirts now just feels uncomfortable.

That looks like the plan so far, I'm making a big list right now.
