The Crystal Flower

Once upon a time of the Medicine Wheel, there was a young girl of a desert tribe.  She was afraid of death and, in holding onto her fear, her spirit became misplaced and she became ill.  None who loved her were able to help.

Now, at this time there was an old, old woman who lived by herself in a canyon, close to the pueblo.  She was held in great ( Read more... )

Thank you, glad you liked it.

This was a meditation I had in 1985. I was taken to a campfire where an old woman told me the story...and I lived it, as she was telling me. More came after, again in meditation and back to the same campfire.

These are the stories that I sent to Grey Wolf, after our first meeting. Turns out, that woman was the Walking Wolf Woman spirit who was searching for Grey Wolf...and led me to him in '91.

I do love your writing and your stories. Made me feel good to read it just before starting another frantic work day. I will put it in my own "spirit pouch" to pull out and remember today and in the days to come.

Ha, ha. Mistresw of the HC (and I DO still think of Hovel California! -- what a gale of laughter that produces in me)

And no, I do not think you are harmless, you are fantastic and you are scary and dangerous and all things marvelously good because what you say changes the world.

Now tell me -- did you in meditation receive that story you posted?

I received it in the meditation...and went through the experience of it at the same time as being told the story. I came back many times to this campfire and was told many more stories by this woman. She and Grey Wolf (who she came looking for) now both walk with me...and I'm grateful.

On a completely unrelated note:

You don't know anyone with room for 2 very cool dogs, do you?

They are not mine and I do not know them or their current people.

Click here, look at the pictures and you will know why I am asking you:

It had been taken down when I tried to go look this morning...hope that means someone was able to give them good homes. Crazy as it sounds (with two acres) the landlord here won't let us. He can't say much about the cats because they already lived here, outside. Every time he comes, I hafta shove the food dishes outside...I told him that I would HAVE to feed them, like we feed all the other wildlife around here.

I would so love to get a Service Dog for my daughter...that turns out to be a much more difficult (and expensive) proposition than you would think it should be.

From their pictures, I expect that the dogs are wolf hybrids. That's why I thought of you. I hope they have found a safe place.

I get a little upset over the wolf hybrids...people think it's oh so cool...and they don't know how to deal with them...how to understand or speak their language. They get afraid pretty quick...and physically, so many wolf hybrids suffer terribly with the hip displasure and seizures. I've been honoured to know them, though...and have shared great inter-species moments with wild wolves too. I really hope they received the two-leggeds they need...who will see them as relations...and not "pets".
