Who's a good girl then?

Alright...after indulging myself all day, I got up some energy in the evening and TOTALLY scrubbed every inch of Willo's bathroom (ooh, me bloody knees, mate!) washed down bedroom walls, and scrubbed the carpet.  I was free to go to town because I didn't have to worry about cleanser smells making her feel ill...she's not here!  I'm usually just ( Read more... )

Oh goodness! I feel for you! that would drive me insane too.. not being able to clean properly!
Is it just the smell of the products that irritate her? I use something that's totally natural.. it's a little more expensive and it comes in a tub with a sponge.. there is no smell and it cleans better than more products that i've tried! The wet sponge goes into the tub and you rub it to release some of the solid stuff in the tub.. and then the sponge is full of soap suds and he presto.. away you go! it even cleans carpets and has removed things I never thought I'd get out again!

I just went for a google search to try and find you something similar.. don't think I'm using the right keywords :) But I'm sure it must be available in your area! would solve the problem if it's just down to the smell of cleaning agents.. and it's good for environment :)

I do use organic cleaners...even those smells that we think delightful are overkill for someone with chronic Lyme...she threw up every day for eight months in the beginning...and the gag reflex remains high nine years later.

I do have to use antibacterials in parts of the bathroom, due to her extreme lack of immunities, though I do my best to keep it to the absolute minimum.

We have a great product here called Simple Green...I love the minty smell...but she used mint so much as an anti-nausea...that now it associates in her brain and triggers. Nothing about Lyme is fargin' easy, let me tell you.

I would like to know more about this product that has no smell...can you give me a name?

Even the smells you and I think are nice...are very different for her. One of her friends insisted she could help her with aromatherapy...that ended in an ER trip...now we keep Reglan injections here at home...that's a shot to stop pukin'...but it messes with her nervous system and starts tremours. Are you getting a better picture of how complicated this all is?

Fo' sho' on the eyesight...I'm lookin' better alla time! ;)
