It's definitely possible to be a normal person, however, I doubt that either of us will have that problem. You see, you and I may have gone through our fair share of shit, or might even still think we are the most self-centered, immature, teenage girl (or boy) that could possibly exist, but despite how we feel now, this is definitely good. All of the hardships we've gone through will make us stronger, and being a self-centered teenager, well maybe that will help when our kids start to act the same way, and we quickly steer them away from that awful path. I know this is overly cliche and whatever, but I've definitely been feeling EXACTLY the same way. So maybe it will help to hear someone say it. Eh, Probably not, but I hope it helps anyhow. Oh yeah, I hope that one of us takes the time once in a while to talk to the other one. (I've always thought we'd make good friends for some reason

mmm no see, i disagree...i dont think it is possible to be "normal" because really, i dont even believe in that word. it has no meaning and no one can be put into a genre of "the normal people". i do however agree that hardships help us to evolve into the people we become and help us grow, which you maya. have grown into such a beautiufl person, inside and out.
but i dont think normal is something to compare ourselves to because there is no base of what that actually is.
