The weirdness of not being there
I still find myself adjusting to living back in the UK. It is weird. It's been a while...
Well, it's been a while... a bit too long really. Hard to get back into the habit of writing a blog, especially as I never really was "in" the habit. Sniffles.
All week I've been thinking I've just got a bad cold but then I was talking to Mellissa who mentioned (she's more up to date on these things) that the Japanese media says hayfever season started this week and blow me down, I reckon it's that! Teaching Japanese?
After 12 days away from school, I’m finally back and to what? No bloody lessons because the first years are away on the ski trip. I feel once again like a piece of the furniture.

Right at a time when I’ve been feeling more negative about Japan that ever, a sudden, brief trip home pops up on the horizon!
