CONCESSION

[Oh hey, no surprise to anyone, Pokey has decided to gravitate towards the concession stand. Unlike usual, though, he isn't just entirely pigging out and digging in to the bag of popcorn he has. Instead, he's just leaning against the side of the stand, slowly eating his popcorn, kernel by kernel. It's an oddly slow, deliberate process.

He looks like he's thinking, and having a hell of a time doing so.]

[Eating a lolipop and walking over.]

[He just nods his head in a small, "what's up" motion at Ai.]

Hey. Haven't seen you slinking about for awhile. What've you been up to?

I've been exploring the library more lately.

[Goal, read every book in there she can find.]

Actually find anything interesting there?

[quietly standing on Pokey's other side with an enormous puff of pink cotton candy on a paper cone. Don't mind him, guys.]

Not really. Sometime I wait for the drones to get them and steal theirs.

Yeah, any difference when you do that?

[Oh hey Slugger. Yeah. Pokey won't be recognizing you're there for the moment. Well, aside from trying to take some of your cotton candy, that is.]

Yes. I can read the books they pick out. Even though I wouldn't be able to find them on the shelves myself.

Nice. Never thought about that, but I've mainly stuck to the comics for a few months.

The books anything good, or just crap like most adults would probably find?

[Pokey makes off with a sizable chunk before Slugger can do anything about it. In return? Elbow to the ribs (though not hard enough to bruise). He doesn't say anything yet and instead tears off another fluffy shred of cotton candy. He's never had it before and is finding it rather delicious.

As for the library stuff, he doesn't have anything interesting to add. The only books he's ever found there were comics or school books for his age bracket. And books about baseball.]

Mostly the same. I've been reading some of the comics and mysteries.

[Pokey lets out a small oomph as Slugger nudges him, giving him a small glare but not taking any more of his cotton candy.]

Yeah? You noticed anything familiar in any of the comics?

[And then, turning back to Slugger.]

Hey. Ugly. How about you be a little charitable and donate some more of that here.
