Finale; Closed to Mokou + Pursuers amongst Victims

[hystorical]

[After a night of carnage, the beast finally found herself standing in the middle of a street, her clothes largely torn but still maintaining her modesty, and surrounded by the braver and stronger among those she had attacked. But while the Keine inside truly, and desperately does not want this to happen, she's realizes there was no more she could do about this... Except leave it to the beast and wait for someone in this crowd to put an end to her misery.]

[And before all semblance of desperation, misery, and apology disappear from her eyes... Keine was just able to mutter her last few words--] Help me... Mokou. [Before the beast took control entirely, and let out a feral roar, before charging headfirst into a select point among the gathered heroes.]

[Guess who woke up by now. Guess. Yeah and she's fairly pissed. Or, rather, more pissed than usual. So when she finds Keine, she ducks into the ground and runs right for her, trying to grab her shoulders and at least get her away from this poor person.]

[hystorical]

[taken by surprise, and with her true self being jolted back to reality, the beast's actions are conflicted when Mokou pulls her away. Keine's desperately trying to stop the beast from further attacking Mokou, while the beast's indomitable will would be pushing back at Keine's, with much success.]

[It'll only be a moment before the beast sends a claw swinging right at Mokou's face]

[Mokou ducks back in time, and fishes a knife and a match from her pocket.]

Guh...!

Keine, snap out of it!

[hystorical]

[If Mokou's capable of reading Keine's thoughts through her eyes, she'll find Keine practically screaming at her to just run away]

[Meanwhile there's no semblance of Keine whatsoever in anything apart from her eyes. Just going to growl at you in response and claw her way forward at you.]

[Mokou skids back a few steps, and promptly lights the handle of the knife on fire, and discards the other matches. The knife is flung in Keine's direction, but as more of a distraction than an outright fighting technique.]

[hystorical]

[The knife would be planted into Keine's abdomen, causing the beast to shriek out in pain. But that doesn't affect it too much; soon enough, it's pulling the knife out, splattering blood all over. But that won't be long, either. The wound soon closes on itself, coagulating quickly, and the bleeding quickly stops.]

[That'll be at least 20 seconds elapsed. What would Mokou be doing in those 20 seconds?~]

[She'd be desperately trying to clear the area. Drop-kicking and the like. And at the last second, she glances up at the sky. Just the slightest trace of dawn, creeping up in the horizon.]

Fine. You wanna make Keine fight? Fight me. [Holding her arms out like an open target.]

[hystorical]

[when the beast was finally done with getting rid of the knife and allowing the wound to heal, it charges right at Mokou, angered by the pain she had caused.

Gee, it almost looks like she's rearing for a headbutt...]

[Mokou braces herself for the inevitable headbutt over here.]

[hystorical]

[WHAT ARE YOU DOING DO YOU WANT TO GET IMPALED]

[But Mokou's lucky because Keine's horns are not in the MIDDLE. The only point that actually makes contact with Mokou is Keine's head itself.]

[paintme_crimson]

[When their heads do make contact, Mokou winces, but otherwise doesn't back down. She tries to grab a hold of Keine's shoulders to wrestle her to the ground. Or at least knock her off balance.]

[hystorical]

[could have grabbed the horns. But this works too.

So yes, the beast will be knocked off balance. What do?]

[TRY to throw all of her body weight on top of her. To pin her to the ground, if only for an instant.]

[hystorical]

[That works. For just a second anyway, mostly due to surprise of someone actually doing that to her.]

[But Mokou's a lot lighter than she might think of herself, and she'll soon find herself pushed off, and quite possibly thrown into the air.]

[paintme_crimson]

[Thrown into the air, it is! And she ends up hitting a tree, smacking painfully against and groaning.

Mokou is temporarily distracted by OH GOD PAIN. KEINEBEAST, WHAT DO?]
