Jenny graduates puppy school in 2 weeks! Do far she has learned: sit stay come here drop it/ leave it (very useful!) loose leash walking down
still working on the barking and jumping, but she is improving... for graduation she gets to do a trick, either shake or take a bow. whichever one she learns better, I guess.
For the last two years of living on Lamar, I have periodically noticed a Great Blue Heron hanging out in the pond near the apartment complex. It's very tall! Turns out that the Great Blue Heron is a totem of self-reliance and ability to be kind of a "jack of all trades." It also symbolizes patience and watching for opportunities. I like all those

Rebecca and I keep acquiring unsolicited gifts for our home. So far: A wahser and Dryer-full size kitchen table sofa and loveseat paper-towel holder (nifty!)
yay! Rebecca and I are signing our lease tommorrow. Way cute duplex at the end of a street next to a big open field. Cute little yard and a dog run on the side, for Jenny :) Time to get packing, I move in 3 weeks!
As I had hoped, I have paid my legal fees in full and no longer owe money to my folks! Now I have until 2009 to save up $2000. That is totally doable. Needless to say, it is a big relief to have that behind me.
I have been slacking in my LJupdates. Yesterday I spent work time reading about Ruby Ridge. It doesn't help that I listen to the conspiracy theory talk radio show on my way to work either. I am happy I don't work for any government departments anymore though

It's monday again. This weekend flew by, and I spent most of it with Rebecca and her neice. I hereby dedicate next weekend to myself. If anyone wants to join my adventures, tht will be great, but bear in mind that they are MY adventures.
So, the system is down right now at work, which means everyone gets a break to check email and play games until they get it running again. Love my job! This generally happens at least once a week
