It was a beautiful day today, made it damn near impossible to get a whole lot done, but I did enjoy the sun.

I am seriously lacking in motivation. I went to class, listened to a lunch and learn from glaxosmithkline, and now I am at the Grand ave dunn bros getting ready to sit here until 11pm. sigh, I can do this, I am starting out simple with oral anatomy, and that is a great easy place to start that won't overhwelm me too much. So I am bored and waiting for the predent club kiddos to come play with our handpieces. They are going to prep an amalgum and then fill it, so it should be interesting. I am thinking about speed, I volunteered to go but I really would love to go home!!!

My weekends are so great and so much fun that they make the week that much harder to go back to. Friday night I went to my neighbors show and met up with my friend Jenny who I grew up with. just starting classes again this week, most days we are done at noon, so that's nice. I need to get back i the swing of things, but it might take a while.

It is soo nice to spend money that technically isn't mine yet on fun things. I knoq the saying, "live like a student now and you can live like a dentist later," but sometimes it is hard to do that. shopping is just soo much fun ( Read more... )

Well, life has been hectic but good the past few months. I just finished my first year of dental school today! The last final was this afternoon, so 1/4 done and a bit sleep deprived, I am happy. well it's a new year and I have a great outlook on it. Break was great and although it went too fast, I will treasure and remember staying up until 5 and sleeping in until 2.
