it's that time of year again when i feel compelled to write in my livejournal (!!!). the past two weeks or so have been filled with coughing, sleep, pin dodgeball, dragonball z, and canoe trips. i ended up sleeping until 5 pm yesterday due the cocktail of nyquil and lithium (prescribed) that i knocked back. today i moved a lot of furniture and ate ice cream and played dodgeball at work. i've been trying to do group games every night with a different house and it's been going well (sort of). last night, as the kids were transitioning back to their house, a kid punched his staff in the face twice. i'm hoping that the game didn't heighten his agression. for about 3 weeks, i'd say everything was going swimmingly. i felt good. i felt substantial.

now i'm back to the glum and the blah and not caring.

i don't understand.

i have spent the entire day watching movies and drinking tea and doing crossword puzzles. it's been quite nice, albeit anti-social.

i couldn't sleep last night. i pray to a higher being that i am able to sleep tonight because working a 15 hour shift with little or no sleep is absolute hell.
