Last race of the season tomorrow, thankfully the monsoon came through last night, may actually be an okay morning.

Got a costume ready to go, rain or shine. Looking forward to a shorter distance. Won't be any easier with a 1,000 elevation difference along the way.

Rest day today. Got my new Nutribullet. We have a program at work that is supposed to encourage staff to be healthy and active. I stopped entering information into the site back in July because I had to be honest at I was only doing it for the prizes. So I stopped entering data. And I won a prize!

With the start of,school, the bus schedules changed. The bus I catch home used to come at 3:35, and if I ripped down the stairs, I could usually just catch the bus. Well now it comes at 3:33. So now I have to wait another 13 minutes for the next bus ( Read more... )

I have been a cyclist sinceI was 8 and bought my first bike, one with a banana seat. That lasted a few years. Bought my first 10 speed from Sears, bright yellow. Wiped out the first time I rode it - went over a railroad crossing, my light popped open and the batteries fell out.
