I'm all for meat. And sometimes animal rights activists (particularly celebrity ones) piss me off. But you really are making a lot of sense here, and I agree with you. Like when the Seal Hunt comes around, all these activists show up and protest. But why aren't these people at slaughterhouses? You don't hear them trying to protest a slaughterhouse or telling off butchers or anything. So while I'm for the eating of them, I know where you're coming from with people picking which ones to go against and which to support.

I've seen that video and it really is scary. It seems like the best we can do is change how we're living, and pretty much force the governments of the world to put more money into this. Something tells me Harper/Bush wouldn't be for it...

but thats my point, eff the government, its all on an individual basis.. yes a lot can be done by the government but theyre more likely to sit around and bitch at eachother instead of doing something. each individual needs to take responsibility for themselves or we're all effed.
