Are ya good with computers? Good on the phone? I'm not sure if we're still hiring, but I could check.

Could you be more specific? I worked in the cablevision call center for 2-3 years, and a b2b callcenter for 6 mo...

Computerwise, I am pretty darn competant with word, Excell, and outlook... I can manuever around windows pretty easily (and am now getting ok w/ mac stuff)... and I understand Database systems (touchstar... etc)

Not to mention I am an incredibly fast learner.

My company does outsourced tech support for publishing companies (and we're not in India!) We support our clients' software and websites on PC and Mac. Most of the stuff we support is stuff you've probably never heard of. You need good general computer knowledge and problem solving skills, and for the websites, good knowledge of Internet Explorer/Firefox/Safari (plug-ins, security settings, etc.)

Everything is over the phone or e-mail so good oral and written communication skills are a must. I know you've got that!

I was just wondering if you looked at that yet and if you wanted to forward a resume. We just hired two people for temporary work for the busy season coming up. I never know when we're looking, only when someone new is hired, so it's possible we might still have openings.

I can't guarantee anything but I could put in a good word if you're interested. We're in Elmsford so you'll have to deal with the bridge every day. OH...and we're open until 3 AM if you're interested in working at night.
