What will you do with your science degree once you have it?

Excellent question to which i have yet to figure out the answer! My existing undergraduate degree (1996) is in Japanese... which meant I avoided every possible science class imaginable. Since then, I have worked for Sony as a translator, worked for high-tech PR companies, owned my own marketing/communications consultancy and now work for OSU in its East Asian Studies Center. For the past four years, I've been taking classes off and on, mostly in science and discovering that not only do I love science, but I actually do well in it when I put my mind to it!
So, in other words, I have no idea what I want to do once I have a degree in science because I have no idea which science degree I want to pursue. I love microbiology and genetics, so perhaps one of those... all in all, I want to do something I love and something I feel is making a difference in the lives of others. I've made really good money in the past at the sacrifice of my happiness, and now I'd rather make just enough money in pursuit of feeling good.
