I'm posting this so I have something recent that's not a whine about medical stuff. I have surgery next Thursday, they're gonna knock me out. I'm a bit apprehensive for some reason; even though I've knocked myself out by drinking too much, the idea of being put to sleep from chemicals in a few minutes freaks me out ( Read more... )

I just got back from the Oral Surgeon. Turns out that the thing in my muzzle was probably a reaction to my calcified saliva gland. Bits of spikey calcium get into the bloodstream and annoy the blood vessels in the area.

It's healing nicely and NOT cancer!

Last night my lower jaw hurt badly. I think this might be related to the ER visit from the last post. I know from a series of dental cleanings and x-rays I got from my school, Pierce College, that I have an impacted wisdom tooth. Well, I was planning on attending Rustycon this year. Since it was nearby, I could attend without the expense of a room. There was even a picture of me up on the webpage under fan guest of honor (The squirrel among the klingons).

I mascotted for one of my favorite bands, The Squirrels this past weekend. You can't really tell in this picture since the tail doesn't show up, but I'm a squirrel and as well, am dressed up as Rudolph the Reindeer. Recursive Fursuiting!
