Since my last update I've been on two rotary trips. One to Bursa, the end of the silk road, and one to the Black Sea. For the Bursa trip all we had to pay for was the bus there and back because the rotary there found host families to put us up for three nights. Hi Izzacate, I just wanted to tell you that I've really enjoyed your reports from Turkey. I heard there was a HUGE demonstration in Izmir this weekend. Do you have pictures and tales to tell ? I hope you have a great visit with your mom.

yes yes yes. Thanks for enjoying, the more good they passively do the better...I mean, it's cool to hear that people are interested. And YES I will soon be putting some photos and reports of the protest up. It was absolutely stunning! and there wasn't any violence at all!

wow those mountains sound so similar to the moutains i am living in... amazingly so..
i tried calling you tonight at about midnight your time, talked to your mom for about 15 minutes (yer mom dude.) and then tried calling phillip's celphone without answer. anyway tonight i'm leaving on the last rotary trip for 8 days and i'll try again when i get back.
