In the E Concourse of Logan Airport in Boston, I passed the time waiting for my plane to leave by buying a book. People who have ever been with me in a Barns & Noble would know that I have a serious addiction to buying books. I could fill library upon library with popular titles, unknown authors… I could go to the worst ( Read more... )

hey dude! anonymous June 13 2007, 02:47:23 UTC
well, you made it, so awesome. it sounds exciting. although i would have liked to hear more about your arrival in india and how you got to where the dali lama is. i love those kinds of stories. something always happens and it's always an adventure, hehe.
so the book sounds like something i must read. i find myself craving english language books and sources being surrounded by nothing but argentine spanish speakers and the occasional chilean or peruvian. we met a canadian couple the other day in our local pub/bar. this street is not exactly on the tourist path, so if a tourist stumbles down it, i figure they must be cool, and these folks were. world travelers. doing something like we did two years ago and traveling around south america for their summer, our winter. of course we gave them lots of good tips. :-P
anyway, thought i'd say hello. it's jeremy from xanga if you haven't already guessed.
hugs, jeremy

Hello there!
I am writing on my new desktop! Finally I bought it, so I'll be able to read your blog more often than I've done in the past few weeks.

This thing about the word of the city, the word of the street is intriguing. It's some form of tagging. You know tag clouds? It's as if there was a tag cloud just above the city, hovering over people. The biggest word would be THE word.

So what would be Lecco's word? I don't know. Something that has to do with work, or money, I fear. Well, when you come you'll give me an impression.

I also have something bad to tell you, but I'll do it through e-mail.

Bye
Riccardo
