Let's start with the good news. Yesterday Jeff and I celebrated our 2 month anniversary. It was a lot of fun. He got me the most gorgeous ring. And the ring I bought him actually fit. Woohoo. hah, they're on strike here too! must be a UC-wide thing. jeez, i'm so out of it. i had just one class today, at 8, so i guess it was too early for them to disrupt it. uh-oh, the dc better be open, though. i'm hungry!

I know it's UC-wide. It's also illegal, but they don't seem to care about that. They were at the base of campus bright and early here. Damn hippies. The only people who seem to be against the strike are the campus Republicans.

although, striking does have it's uses. but i'm positive that disrupting student's class and keeping them from getting a proper eduaction is not one of them. Have you ever seen Newsies? that's like the best movie ever and it's all about young **oh so cute** guys who go on strike. I think striking has it's place in the world, if only to show hot shots in big companies that they don't hold all the aces... anyway, maybe i'm just a liberal nut... ;)

I agree. I just think that making it hell for students for a day doesn't really help their cause. One of their strengths is student support. If they ruin that, it'll be a huge loss.

very true, the only way they are going to get anything is if the students support them. If only because the number of students to anyone else is huge.
