It's so cold and I couldn't be happier. It finally feels like November. I've been toying with the idea of moving away from Houston - eventually. Turns out we couldn't leave the city. The highways were, hell they still are, virtual parking lots. There are just a massive amount of people trying to flee the city. So, I live in Houston, and since Hurricane Rita is going to hit land by Saturday, we're probably going to head up to Dallas. I wanted to stay, but they're saying that Rita is massive, so even though Houston is 60 miles inland, we'd definately feel it. Evacuation is such a scary word. I'm so poor and yet I can't help buying things. I just paid my tuition, and seeing as I'm only taking 3 classes, $430.00 dollars isn't too bad. But all I have is part-time job, and I get paid every other week, so that took a huge chunk out of my already depleted bank account. Hell, I haven't even purchased my textbooks. One of my favorite shows this season, other than Lost, is the sublime Veronica Mars. This show is so reminiscent of Buffy but without the monsters. It has the great acting, complex story lines, and layered characters.
