Today I was watching Hardball on MSNBC and this guy Tom Fenton is being interviewed. Tom is the most senior foreign correspondent for any news agency in America. And he informs me that for the 3 major TV networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) only have 2 permanent Foriegn Offices a piece, one in London, one in Beijing. hmm that's food for thought...you're probably right it would make sense to do that but of course the media is retarded...what else is new? lol...why do u think there should be 1 reported in the countries we are friends with and 5 in the countries were not? why not the same?...or maybe for the bigger cities the more reporters?..hmm

that should read at least 1/5. and we need more in unfriendly countries cuz in general what they say and do is more relevent to what we say and do. And as for the whole bigger cities/more reporters, thats what cities we use to cover certain regions, so London is everything in Europe and Africa, Beijing is Asia and Australia, so we just need to cut up our regions smaller.

A specific number is not that relevant, the point is that we need more correspondents. I agree that we do need more people in other countries; it will help keep us safer by providing valuable cultural and political information.
