For sense of humor, open-mindedness, and integrity, Garrus definitely comes to mind. Plus, chances are good he could deal with a good dose of bluntness and might even be amused by it ("Damn, Garrus, you were always ugly...").

Joker and Jacob also come to mind as good matches.

I agree with what von_hammersnark wrote, especially the bit of humor and bluntness. I think he's with you on hating "ass-kissing" and since he's alien, he'd definitely offer a different persepective. :>
