I've no idea why, but Kaiden is the one that keeps popping into my head with you. I feel like a lot of what you said he would agree with.

It's a little out there, but I really saw Kolyat when reading this. He's a bit emotionally troubled and a little rash, jumping into the fray as you called it. The steady, slow romance you describe (not rushing into marriage or kids, taking it easy) seems to fit him well. Not to mention your line about gratitude being the most important thing in a relationship; that really screamed post-loyalty Kolyat to me.

{Plus he's 'round nineteen or so, so you aren't robbing the cradle! :-P}

I'm only picking Feron because... you like drell.... and my first choice... that one turian that was in love with that one quarian... well... he doesn't have a name I could put in my post Subject...

Anyway,

- You like men that have a little damage around the edges | Feron spent two years being tortured intermittently

- You like drell | Feron is pretty drell

- You like smiles | Feron is the only drell I can imagine smiling

- You like movies | Feron was kinda like a spy and that involves watching stuff...

- You don't have an opinion on kids | Feron has never once mentioned kids either

- You'd apologize first | Feron might appreciate that. Or possibly give his life for you once you did.

- You like tolerance | Feron is pretty tolerant of all sorts of shady dealings. Except the Collectors. Avoid that and you're golden.

- Going out on a limb here, but Feron also probably has both a Slot B and Tab A. Though that first one might be a Slot C. I'm not 100% on that.

Seconding Feron for a couple of reasons. Gratitude - I think he has this in spades, so realises the importance of it. He's certainly not shy to say "thanks" which implies that he wouldn't be adverse to admitting fault. And yeah, there's some sort of trauma there ;)

Drell? Check! Some emotional drama/trauma? Check! And the slow building relationship seems like something that would fit him as well. (Also, physically compatible? CHECK!)
