One year is an interesting line. Regardless of where Erik and I actually are (which we don't talk about...'cause that's how we roll), one year appears to be the line where things get real in other people's minds. I keep almost updating my journal and forgetting to.  Like the one about my mom.  Or bisexual erasure.  Or the ChaMP bbq.  But that'll all have to wait.  I'm off to Vegas!  A group of us are headed there for a few days.  It happens to fall on Erik and I's one year anniversary, so that'll be cool.  Wish me luck, and I'll see y'all when I see you!

I wish more churches were like this guy's wonderful family.  Too many put no effort into making it clear that you are not better dead than queer.  And too many young people then choose death.
