I've got a new pig!

Theo needed a friend, so I got myself a new baby boy for him.  He's less than a month old, and jet black all over.  Makes for a good pair with Theo, who's PEW.  I'll post pictures at some point, but right now I'm looking for name suggestions, so comment away.

Recently I overheard a conversation between two friends that astounded me.  Friend One seemed to be of the opinion that C defined a scale, and didn't understand what Friend Two meant by saying that you have to specify C what.  I sat there amazed.  How could anyone not understand that the tonic wasn't enough - you have to name the mode also or you ( Read more... )

It was expected.  Heck, it was probably even the best result, mostly because I'm tired beyond belief of whining about judicial activists (FYI, it's mostly been republicans on those 'activist courts').  It does seem like reaching pretty far for the courts to overturn prop eight, despite how ludicrous it is that 52% of the vote is enough to take a ( Read more... )
