A little part of me dies inside every time I find out that an unattractive (and altogether unappealing!) person is having more sex than I am.

i've long ago determined that life is not fair and especially not fair when it comes to things like this.

It's so depressing.

I mean, I can understand it if an ugly person is having more sex than I am, as long as they have a personality that makes up for it. I can sort of get that. But when I'm hard-pressed to find any appealing characteristics about the person, it just blows my mind.

it probably has something to do with relative sluttiness factor, so i wouldn't take it personally. :)

Ugly people are sluttier? They should do a survey on this.

I do have a theory that ugly people and very hot people are both sluttier than average-looking people. Very hot people are used to getting compliments based on their looks and therefore worry about what they have if they were NOT hot -- thus they need to reassure themselves that they're still hot by having sex. And ugly people have a deep-seated need to "prove they're not ugly" by sleeping with as many people as possible. Thus average-looking people are the least likely to be promiscuous.

I should get somebody to test out this hypothesis in a scientific study, however.

DEPRESSING

My old roommate Sarah, despite being disgusting, negative, and juvenile, managed to get laid like, all the time. The catch is that she ended up bedding men who were equally disgusting. It never ceased to amaze me, but at least it keeps people like that off the streets.

I found out my old roommate who was ugly is marring her equally ugly boyfriend from college. I cried a little on the inside.

But as my friend pointed out, I could have had him if I wanted- but would I really want to marry/have sex with an ugly guy?
