I am sweating my ass off. Our little apartment is so freaking hot. My sister just called to say we could have her air conditioner. They have central air, so that's a very nice and thoughtful thing for her to offer. I will surely pick it up this week. I can hardly stand this heat! I went to my parents house last night and had dinner with them. My mom mailed a few boxes of things of my grandma's from Montana so her kids could have a few mementos. I am glad to have them, and she made some really good choices for me including two paintings, which are likely to take up an entire wall in my bedroom. It looks like an art gallery ( Read more... )

I am cooked. I'm about to go meet Andrea for lunch, then it's off to work. I owe money in so many directions it's making my head spin a little bit. On a positive note, between now and October we have some shows booked that I am SUPER stoked about. Wednesday I saw Team Dresch in DC, Thursday I saw them in Philadelphia, Friday was the Pariah Piranha CD release show in Baltimore and Saturday PP played another show at a youth center in Harrisburg.
