Thanks for sharing.
I like Noelle's words of wisdom almost as much as I like Oliver's. I think you actually did her pretty good justice. Wanting to help out Andy, but keeping Sam in the forefront of her thoughts.
She's thinking about kids and the park on Sundays!!!

She totally is! I had to keep reigning in some of the sass. It's easy to over do with Noelle. And yeah, I thought putting Sam in there made sense cause it's Noelle, those are her pals, the rookies slightly more secondary.
Aww, I love that you wrote this conversation between these two. We don't get much of this pairing. And I do think Noelle, with her mixed feelings about it over time makes sense as a person for Andy to ask about it.
Noelle and Andy have had some good scenes and then they wrote Noelle out of S4!
BUT THIS
I liked Andy talking to Noelle about kids and Noelle wondering if Andy is with child. And imagining Noelle and Frank and Olivia is the sweetest. And of course, Andy and Sam and their future child?! *faints* Andy's little smile at Noelle's remark of them being great parents was my favorite passage. :)
I wasn't even sure of the timing on this thing either, so I gave no hints! (But I'd like to think she's not with child and she and Sam aren't even thinking marriage yet). And Noelle would totally give him shit when he's starting out as a dad... give Oliver a run for his money.
AHHH THAAAANK YOU. radleybooApril 17 2014, 19:15:16 UTC
I think we are all Noelle in this situation because we KNOW they can make it work and (i personally have it all figured out) JUST ASDFGHNM. SAM SWAREK WITH A BABY, WE WOULD ALL LOVE TO SEE THAT, NOELLE.
I like that Noelle's the shipper here just the way Oliver's been it.
And that she maintains her hardassness and is honest about what it's like.
BUT SAM HOLDING A BABY. Andy I know that look because I have that look on my face too. Every. Single. Time.
Also: you DO realize that now you have to write the one where Sam/Noelle talk about Andy being pregnant, rightttt?

Everybody's just real sick of Andy's mommy issues. (It's possible Noelle's the third person she's approached with that question). Spoke to Oliver a couple hours later at the Penny even.
'McNally, you're going to be a damn fine mom someday. Stop worrying' 'But-' 'You'll be fine. Sam, tell her she'll be fine.' *turns around* yup, Sam's been there the whole time she's chatting with Oliver.
Oh no. What have you done?! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR MORE OF THIS!!
(Noelle asking Sam if Andy's pregnant? Or later on when she really is? Wait, no, NO, NO TIME, SHHH).

Nothing better than Sam as a daddy. Nothing.
