I’m not trying to say I am morose or anything, but every now and again, like a hibernating animal, I emerge-torpidly-from my room; I squint against the sun as the brightness of day burns my eyes, and stumbling through the parking lot, I find my car. My eyes adjust. It’s not like I love sitting in my car for hours on end, but more often than not, I’ ( Read more... )

haha I've always felt you can tell way more about a person by their shoes than any other piece of their physical appearance

That may be so. I am glad that you tend to look at shoes. Sometimes I glance down at shoes, but mostly I am too preoccupied to even think about other people's shoes. And my shoes are kind of casual; I really wonder what people think of my shoes (I especially wonder what girls think.) Here is a link to the shoes I wear (they are special shoes that make my injured knee feel better, and are the only shoes I can wear.)

I wear the black/acid color; do you think that any of the other color options look better?

Looking at shoes is probably mostly habit from staring at the ground more than I should. I think girls tend to look at details and boys tend to look at the whole picture. From those shoes, I would probably assume that either you are athletic or dgaf about appearance and just like functional shoes.

I can't afford many shoes, so I have two pairs that I can wear regularly, funny thing is that my mom bought both of those on a buy one get one free sale. Blue gray sneakers and green Birkenstocks.

I almost never wear the sandals. Open toed shoes aren't allowed in the lab and they're a pain in the ass for biking. But hell, I've kinda felt like a robot lately, so I'd like to say your theory has a little weight to it.

The treads on the sneakers are wearing thin, so I'll be buying whatever quality sneakers I can find on clearance and if they're Green, I'm going to laugh my ass off.

Well I am very glad that you have two pairs of shoes that you wear regularly. I hope these shoes last you a very long time and keep your feet very healthy and strong. It is good that you will be buying new sneaks, as the support of a shoe generally tends to wear out after a while, and since it seems as though you have had these shoes for a considerable amount of time you may need to buy new shoes; but you are way ahead of me and already realize the need for new shoes, which is why I commend you for your decision and I hope you find the BEST shoes possible for the CHEAPEST price imaginable and I very SINCERELY wish you the BEST OF LUCK with EVERY SINGLE ENDEAVOR in your ENTIRE LIFE! GOD BLESS YOU!
