On a good note, the writer's strike is over! Hurrah! I can't possibly explain how happy I am. It's times of desperation, like the writer's strike, that remind me of just what a geek I truly am. I don't know what I would have done without the Oscars to look forward to

I wear any color other than red on Valentine's Day. Just to disrupt the mood. I wore brown today, so I need to wear... blue tomorrow. Yes, blue. Because it's the opposite of red. It depicts sadness, rather than love. Whoo~
Ummm. Movies. I want to see Cloverfield and get motion sickness. But that's been out. Other than that... not really.

And kudos on the blue idea, that's clever. Heh, I was too angry to get beyond "must..wear...black" and then I realized I had a black shirt with skulls and was like "perfect!" Hey, I figure after a break-up, I am allowed one day to be melodramatic!
Oooh, Cloverfield. It's funny you got motion-sick seeing it. That's the whole reason I don't want to see it! I get motion-sick during alot of movies anyway . @#$ Titantic...the minute that ship started going down, I had to bail.:) Other than the being sick part, did you like "Cloverfield" at all?

Thanks. I totally wore blue and black today. Just a bit of black (my shoes). No one really minded, though. Everyone's pretty much anti-Valentine's in Honors, except for the really special people who are in a relationship. Then they try to send me their love~ It doesn't work, though.
I haven't seen it yet. I just know it's all full of motion-sickness because of the reviews. It's not recorded like a regular movie; it's like through the cameraman's lens. Like when you watch Cops! So it's just this guy with a camera running alone like he's part of the movie, running away from whatever.

Oh, and I am never going to see "Cloverfield" now. Egggh, hand-held cameras. I hate those. It makes me feel like the ground is spinning whenever I watch them used on even Cops. Or I should go see Cloverfield with those special wrist thingies that people always wear for motion-sickness (have you ever seen them? They are hilarious to look at;))

Would you recommend Tales of Silmeria? Or is it too hard?

As for Tales of Silmeria, it's tricky to say. It is crazy hard. However, if you like having more strategy to your battles, you might like it. The plot is also amazing. I don't know...it's a very hard judgement one way or the other. It is one of those games that really just depends on your personal taste. Do you like really hard RPGS and have a good deal of patience for dying and re-playing areas? Then you should be fine. Or if you really like a good story, then maybe the hard-ass battles won't bother you so much (hah, they still bothered me, though!:))
Overall, I'm inclined to recommend a rental first. It does have the prettiest graphics for a PS2 game...

And yes, it does make single people feel isolated and completely shit.
Though I did get a valentine from my friend, so I'm less bitter this year ;)
