I'm getting really bored with LJ. Nobody seems to post or respond anymore. Instead of checking LJ, I wonder if I should spend my time doing other worthy web things, like tweaking my website (new one in the works built with flash, courtesy of Andy) and working on my photo blog since I give out that web address more freely than I add people on here. A few things lately...

* kongregate.com = addictive
* work is awesome, slow week but working on a spec spot for an account exec and hope it goes over well
* one of Andy's friends is coming for the weekend
* putting together a new voiceover demo so I can get an agent
* I've got to leave for work now since it's about 9 :)

I got the job!!! We're moving to Phoenix!!! My first day is July 2nd.... we've started packing tonight. :)

This is rough. I'm over thinking everything. He never said he'd call at 9 (10 here), but I think he did say he'd call in the morning. So, it's almost 11 there. Maybe he'll call soon.

I'd be absolutely heartbroken if I didn't get this job. I'd be ecstatic if he hired me.

OK, so apparently now the job is "down to 2:" it's me and the girl who applied in-house. However, he said he's leaning towards me, all 3 of his "cohorts" are behind me 100% (every time he leaves his office, they put my resume on top of his desk), and he has this experience from his past that makes him feel in his gut that he "should take a chance" ( Read more... )

The sharks at the end are so bad, it nearly made my day.

So I find it to be incredibly encouraging that Chuck (Toledo, market #87) thinks I would stand a decent chance at getting hired to be the Production Director in Tallahassee, FL (market #164), or if I wanted something similar I could go for Asst.
