new addiction

I just played Starcraft for the first time. That lasted a bit over 6 hours... and I'm only stopping for 3 reasons. 1) I finally got past a mission that took me just over 3 hours, and the effort was draining, 2) I'm very tired, and 3) I have to get up by 11 to be ready for work ( Read more... )

Wow! A little late on the addiction. :) Hehe.. most of us have been through that stage of finally getting the seige tanks in place and the last of the enemies defences fall. You look up and realize that the sound you hear isn't the computer telling alreting you won, but the morning alarm clock going off.

Haven't forgotten your email reply! Just haven't had time! Getting to it today! :)

Oh, I know I'm totally late to the party on this one... but by playing Starcraft and getting good at that, I can move on to Warcraft, even WoW if I want to have all my free time sucked away. The good thing is, the way the computer area is set up, Andy and I are sitting next to each other (monitors just out of clear, peripheral view) so we're still spending time together... only our conversations are limited to "hey, my guys are getting killed over here, send some support troops!" and "I found a place to set up a 2nd camp, send some guys to claim it" and stuff like that. :)

When we start playing against each other, that'll be a bad thing. You may know I'm super-competitive and hate to lose but get pissy when I do.
