I'm playing in a softball tournament with one of my coworkers this weekend on her team. We won our first game, at 9am, and will play again at 4:30p. My understanding is that if we win that game, the next game would be at 8:30p, and if we win that, we play in the finals at 12:30AM. I'm digging the intensity of this one-day tournament thing.

Played at 9am, won

Played at 4:30pm, lost, score was something like 8-18. We were playing the women of Cannon Air Force Base... they were buff and strong and fast. I don't feel too bad about the loss itself, just about the mistakes I made while playing.

Played at 6:30pm, lost, score was something like 7-12. They out-hit us, and we kept popping the ball up so they had time to get under it. Plus, they had a robot on their team. This girl the team I played with had nicknamed "Barbie"... she has more of a Barbie face and the body of a supermodel-bot. She could catch anything.

Now I am incredibly sore, from running up and down the stadium steps yesterday (4x) and from playing over 3 hours of softball today. Oops, and I need to eat dinner.
