Word on the street is that LJ has eliminated new Basic Accounts... WTF???

Apparently there is a 24 hour content strike on at the moment... I'm willing to go along with that, seeing as though I am on a basic account, and wish more of my friends would sign up...

I'm sitting on my roof at the moment, typing away on my new toy...the funky lil Asus eeepc. Linux has been teh difficult to figure out, but with consummate numbers of online forums I managed to get it setup with greek and french keyboards, though the accents are still not working ( Read more... )

Apparently the seats at my local bus stop have been removed. These are seats that ALWAYS have people sitting on them. There is no explanation for it. There is also the inexplicable fact that I found this out through Bron's LJ, even though these seats are five minutes walk away.
