I've discovered on the label of a Swedish cosmetic product, that the instructions in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German say the product should be applied once a day, while the instructions in other (Eastern) European languages claim it should be applied twice a day.

Opinions?

Go with the French/German instructions, since they're closer to the point of origin.

Eastern European societies place greater importance on moist skin?

Single daily moisturising is how the English maintain their dry humour?
