Hmm, I have some serious thinking to do... and soon. Yesterday I went to a sort of interview for a tattoo artist apprenticeship. I say go for it. Short-term loss, long-term gain. And in this case, the gains seem more than worth it...as long as you think you can survive until it starts paying off.

Maybe you could find something short term in the meantime to fit in between your apprenticeship. It sounds like if you are able to financially ride this out, you'll be set afterwards. I think you'd be amazing at it. If you think you guys can do it, go for it.

I say go for it, as well. The gods have placed an oppurtunity in front of you that may prove very fruitful. If you can swing a part time job while you apprentice for a few months, I think the rewards will definitely work out.
I'll be rooting for you and hoping that things work out for the best.
