If the warmer (relatively) temperatures and melting snow wern't enough of a sign, yesterday I saw my first sandhill cranes of the season. I love those birds, they are so dinosaur-like. So yeah, I don't know what the official totals are yet, but we got a lot of snow...for us. The east coasters will laugh, but it's rare for this part of the country to get more than 6 inches of snow or more at a time. We just get much more frequent storms.
