Huh. Well, I would probably have to say I fall into the complacency category. I'm most definitely in a rut, and I'm content. Please don't rock my boat, thankyouverymuch. But, I do tend to get bored, yet don't really feel the need to "better" myself...maybe because I have no real goals in my life. ;) Hahaha, sometimes I feel like I'm living the movie GroundHog Day, but I have enough people in my life with so much turmoil, upheaval and drama that I really like my steady ship of a life.

Contentment is different from complacency. From what I've read of your blog these last couple months, I don't think you're complacent. I think you have a solid appreciation for contentment. That's good. :-)

I hadn't really thought it through, but it seems spot on. A feeling of "acceptance" is also one thing that makes people *click* with each other as friends or lovers, so it makes sense that it'd be easier to live with *yourself* if you practice self-acceptance.
