I was thinking about a "30 days" blog prompt for the foster dog, and I'm not entirely sure I have enough mental bandwidth right now to post every day

And yeah, she's trying hard. It's rough, being a dog with now social skills, it is.

Clearly it was the shock of me posting twice in one day. I can understand how that would throw you off.

Even with the fighting, it sounds like you have made good progress with Mackenzie. She looks much more relaxed about having her photo taken. :-)

Actually, I even think that THESE fights are progress. If they'd been allowed to happen early in her stay here, the would have spiraled out of control very quickly and someone would have gotten hurt. That's how she came to me, actually, she attacked/was attacked by a JRT in the last foster home. The fact that there have been no injuries speaks to her progress, the confrontations were more noise and posturing than true fighting.

And haaaah. That picture is so grainy because it was taken from REALLY FAR AWAY with a cell phone camera and a silenced shutter.

I really want good photos of this girl, but they've been slow to happen.
