Guess I'm lucky. My priest is very welcoming to everyone, no matter what lifestyle they follow(nun is another story sadly but I simply don't talk to her anymore).

That is wrong and priest/pastors should not voice their own opinions in their sermons - especialy if they know it could affect someone so dearly. That's how they loose parishoners.

She should. If the priest or other members of the church are making her upset and uncomfortable she should look for another church. Hope you the best.
